CENTRALITY × CENTRIFUGALITY
Located within Chaoyang Park in Beijing, this project adapts an existing building into a clubhouse. At the centre of the space, a circular sofa and a dome with both presence and lightness are introduced, forming a centripetal spatial composition that naturally encourages gathering. The central space is planned as a hub where circulation to each area is concentrated. While functioning as a place with strong centrality, it also possesses centrifugal qualities that distribute movement toward the surrounding rooms, thereby structuring the spatial continuity of the clubhouse as a whole.
